N.H. Gov. Sununu gained’t run for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu stated Monday he gained’t search the GOP’s nomination for president in 2024.

Mr. Sununu, a critic of former President Donald Trump, advised CNN that he gained’t be part of the crowded GOP subject of rivals making an attempt to bounce Mr. Trump from his present frontrunner standing. By the top of this week, 12 candidates can have introduced campaigns for the GOP nomination.

He stated the subject already has a few dozen candidates and that Mr. Trump “is doing much better in the polls than folks thought.”



Mr. Sununu stated that given the dimensions of the Republican subject, candidates who aren’t polling nicely “need to understand the responsibility of getting out, and getting out quickly if it’s not working.”

His resolution leaves the GOP contest in his dwelling state, which holds the primary major within the nation, large open.

Mr. Sununu, a four-term governor, stated Mr. Trump can not win the presidency subsequent 12 months.

“The math has shown that Donald Trump has no chance in 2024. … He won’t even win Georgia. The math doesn’t add up,” he stated.
