Sen. Richard Blumenthal to go away hospital after surgical procedure for parade damage

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal was anticipated to be discharged from a hospital Monday following what he referred to as profitable surgical procedure on a minor leg fracture he suffered throughout a victory parade for the nationwide champion University of Connecticut males’s basketball crew over the weekend.

The 77-year-old Connecticut Democrat stated on Twitter that he had surgical procedure on his higher femur Sunday at Stamford Hospital and commenced bodily remedy later the identical day. The operation included putting in some pins to verify it heals correctly, a spokesperson stated.
