Adames mimics former teammate Arozarena with HR pose

PETERSBURG — Willy Adames celebrated the two-year anniversary of his commerce from Tampa Bay to Milwaukee with a house run – punctuated with a playful homage to one in all his favourite former teammates.

Adames crossed his arms and shrugged a la Rays star Randy Arozarena, who laughed in left area as the 2 pointed in one another’s course throughout the second inning of Sunday’s collection finale at Tropicana Field.

For Adames and the Brewers, it was a welcome second of levity. Milwaukee went into Sunday’s finale making an attempt to keep away from a sweep, and Adames entered the day with three hits in his final 25 at-bats, none of them residence runs.

It was a becoming day to interrupt via; on May 21, 2021, the Rays traded Adames to the Brewers for pitchers Drew Rasmussen and J.P. Feyereisen, and his current hunch however, Adames has been the Brewers’ most efficient hitter since then, main the staff in residence runs, RBIs, hits, doubles, walks, runs and video games performed – together with all 46 video games up to now in 2023.
