MILWAUKEE — Victor Caratini and rookie Joey Wiemer homered to again Freddy Peralta, main the Milwaukee Brewers over the Detroit Tigers 6-2 on Wednesday to keep away from a collection sweep and cease a three-game dropping streak.
Detroit shortstop Javier Báez, who entered with a 10-game hitting streak, left within the first inning after being struck on the left hand by a 93 mph Peralta pitch. The Tigers mentioned Báez’s hand was bruised and X-rays had been unfavorable.

Wiemer homered in opposition to Tyler Holton within the eighth.
