Cubs set to name up prime prospect Crow-Armstrong (supply)

Pete Crow-Armstrong is coming to The Show. The Cubs are set to name up their prime prospect, No. 12 general per MLB Pipeline, a supply advised MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand on Monday. The membership has not confirmed.

Acquired from the Mets within the deal for Javier Báez on the 2021 Trade Deadline, Crow-Armstrong has produced a slash line of .283/.365/.511 with 20 homers and 82 RBIs at Double-A Tennessee and Triple-A Iowa this season.

The plan is to activate the 21-year-old earlier than Tuesday’s sport towards the Rockies, in response to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
