Cubs starter Marcus Stroman leaves London sport with blister on finger

LONDON — Chicago Cubs right-hander Marcus Stroman left Sunday’s sport in opposition to the St. Louis Cardinals within the fourth inning with a blister on his proper index finger.

Stroman entered the sport with an NL-best 2.28 ERA and was 7-0 in his final seven begins going into the collection finale in London.

Stroman was pulled with one out within the fourth after Paul Goldschmidt put the Cardinals forward 5-4 on a pointy single that scored Tommy Edman.



He allowed 9 hits and 6 runs, all earned, to go together with two strikeouts and a stroll.
