LSU’s Dylan Crews wins Golden Spikes Award because the nation’s prime baseball participant

OMAHA, Neb. — LSU heart fielder Dylan Crews, projected to be the No. 1 decide within the novice draft subsequent month, on Sunday was honored because the winner of the Golden Spikes Award as the highest novice baseball participant within the nation.

Crews, the Southeastern Conference participant of the yr for the second straight season, led the Tigers to the College World Series finals and is among the many nationwide leaders in most offensive classes. Of the 44 earlier Golden Spikes winners, three have received the Cy Young Award, three have been a Most Valuable Player and 20 have been chosen to no less than one All-Star staff as a participant or supervisor.
