NEW YORK — The New York Rangers have employed Hockey Hall of Famer Angela Ruggiero as a hockey operations adviser.
The staff introduced the addition of Ruggiero on Friday together with a number of entrance workplace adjustments.
Ruggiero, 43, received 4 Olympic medals as a defenseman for the U.S. She helped the nation win gold on the 1998 Games in Nagano – the primary Olympics with girls’s hockey – adopted by silver in 2002 and 2010 and bronze in 2006.
The Michigan native skated 15 years with the nationwide staff, placing up 58 factors in 61 worldwide video games. Ruggiero was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
