Winnipeg coach Rick Bowness takes a go away of absence after his spouse’s seizure

WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Winnipeg coach Rick Bowness is taking a go away of absence after his spouse had a seizure, the Jets mentioned Monday.

Judy Bowness stays in a hospital for testing after having a seizure on Sunday night time, the staff mentioned.

Associate coach Scott Arniel will function interim head coach in his absence. The Jets are off to a 2-3-0 begin to the season and play Tuesday in opposition to the visiting St. Louis Blues.
