ESPYS to honor US ladies’s soccer workforce, ChiSox’s Hendriks and the Buffalo Bills coaching workers

LOS ANGELES (AP) – The U.S. ladies’s nationwide soccer workforce can be honored with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at The ESPYS on July 12.

Liam Hendriks, the Chicago White Sox reliever who battled non-Hodgkin lymphoma, will obtain the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance. The Pat Tillman Award for Service will go to the Buffalo Bills coaching workers for serving to save the lifetime of security Damar Hamlin, who collapsed on the sector in January.

The U.S. ladies’s workforce efficiently fought for equal pay with the boys’s nationwide workforce that helped set a normal for different sports. The workforce has since labored to lift consciousness round pay inequity and social injustices within the United States.



Hendriks returned to play in May, six months after being recognized. He donated $100,000 to most cancers analysis.

After Hamlin’s collapse, the Bills coaching workers carried out live-saving measures earlier than Hamlin was rushed to the hospital. He has since been cleared to return to soccer.
