FedEx Field to function one website for Premier League’s U.S. summer season match

LONDON — The Premier League will maintain an low season match within the United States, together with FedEx Field, this summer season that includes six groups.

Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Fulham, Brighton and Brentford will play within the nine-match “summer series” in July, the league introduced Tuesday.

“Our clubs have incredible supporters in the U.S., who passionately follow their teams throughout the season,” Premier League chief govt Richard Masters mentioned in a press release.

The matches will likely be performed from July 22-30 in Atlanta, Orlando, Philadelphia, in addition to in Harrison, New Jersey, and FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

Chelsea and Brighton will kick off the match at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on July 22.

Two matches will likely be held at FedEx Field on Sunday, July 30. Aston Villa FC faces Brentford FC at midday whereas Chelsea FC squares off towards Fulham FC at 2:45 p.m.

Sign-up is on the market for presale to get early entry to match tickets. Tickets for all matches will likely be obtainable by way of presale on Tuesday, April 25 and go on common sale on Wednesday, April 26. Visit https://www.premierleague.com/SummerSeries.

While a variety of English top-flight golf equipment have held low season excursions within the U.S. it’s the first time the league has staged a match there.

The league mentioned it was a part of an “ongoing commitment to its U.S.-based fans.”
