GW declares new title after ditching ‘Colonials’

George Washington University’s sports groups will now be generally known as the Revolutionaries, the college introduced Wednesday.

Revolutionaries replaces Colonials, which had been GW’s title since 1926. Officials made the choice final 12 months to drop the previous title after figuring out it not unified the neighborhood.
