James Milner is becoming a member of Brighton on a free switch after his departure from Liverpool.

The versatile 37-year-old midfielder signed a one-year contract Wednesday with the choice for an additional 12 months.

Milner will be part of Brighton as soon as his contract with Liverpool expires on June 30, including expertise to Roberto De Zerbi’s squad forward of the membership’s first European marketing campaign. Brighton will play within the Europa League subsequent season after a sixth-place end within the Premier League.
