MADRID — Spanish league golf equipment that voluntarily give broadcasters extra entry to gamers and coaches will earn extra in tv rights this season, the league stated Friday.
Clubs will earn larger shares of the tv rights by voluntarily providing up “interviews with coaching staff, pre-match footage from inside changing rooms and greater involvement of players across a host of different broadcast formats,” the league stated.
The league stated it hopes to reinforce the followers’ viewing expertise and finally generate extra revenue by encouraging golf equipment to be take extra proactive initiatives.
The measure “comes in response to demands from broadcast rights holders for an improved product to raise it to the level of other elite sports competitions,” the league stated.
The Spanish league this season is debuting its partnership with videogame firm EA Sports as its title sponsor, with new logos and audiovisual options to be put in place.
Only one membership – Real Madrid, in line with Spanish media – voted in opposition to the modifications to how the printed revenues are shared. New digicam angles within the dugouts, aerial cameras, cinematic cameras in participant tunnels and improved visuals “all come with a nod to the EA Sports FC video game,” the league stated.
