KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Sporting Kansas City defender Logan Ndenbe tore the ACL in his proper knee in his group’s win over St. Louis City final weekend, sidelining him for the remainder of the MLS Cup playoffs and into subsequent season, the membership mentioned Wednesday.
Ndenbe sustained the damage within the 62nd minute of the 2-1 victory over No. 1 seed St. Louis, which despatched eighth-seeded Sporting KC into the Western Conference semifinals. The 25-year-old Ndenbe scored targets in each of Sporting KC’s wins within the best-of-three collection towards St. Louis.
Ndenbe is anticipated to have surgical procedure quickly and will miss as much as 9 months.
