Tennis followers in Madrid got a glimpse of the American’s eye-catching recreation on Saturday once they witnessed him make a bid for shot of the week on the Madrid Open.

Unfortunately for Shelton it wasn’t a dream end – the American fell to Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff in three units, 4-6, 7-6(4), 7-5. That first predominant draw win at Madrid must wait…
