Daniil Medvedev is pumped for an additional shot at Sebastian Korda.
Beijing finalist Medvedev dismissed Chilean Cristian Garin 6-3, 6-3, establishing a Rolex Shanghai Masters third-round conflict vs. world No. 26 Korda, recent off his run to the Astana remaining.

In a daring all-court efficiency final January, Korda broke Medvedev in his opening service sport of every set, sending the 2022 Australian Open finalist packing in an excellent 7-6(7), 6-3, 7-6(4) Australian Open triumph.
On his fourth match level, the Twenty ninth-seeded Korda cracked a diagonal forehand winner simply contained in the sideline then thrust his arms within the air to have fun his first Top 10 win in a Grand Slam event.
In Sunday’s rematch, Medvedev will attempt to defuse a “very dominant” Korda.
“Tough match because the only time I played him I lost and in straight sets and in a Grand Slam,” Medvedev instructed the media in Beijing. “So I for sure remember it. He played well. He was very dominant, in a way, and that’s how he plays, so it’s going to be interesting for me.
“I’m in a fine condition now, so I’ll attempt to do higher than final time and attempt to win.”
