Tel Aviv Open canceled due to the Israel-Hamas struggle

LONDON — The Tel Aviv Open tennis event scheduled for subsequent month has been canceled due to the Israel-Hamas struggle.

The ATP males’s tour stated the choice was made after session with safety specialists and with the security of gamers and followers in thoughts.

“The violence and acts of terror witnessed in Israel are beyond comprehension,” ATP chairman Andrea Gaudenzi stated. “We strongly condemn any form of terrorism and mourn the loss of innocent lives across this conflict. We hope and pray for peace in the region.”



The occasion was scheduled for early November.

In final 12 months’s closing, Novak Djokovic defeated Marin Cilic in straight units to take the title.
