Street sign up Houston edited to ship profane message to motorists

Drivers in Houston had been despatched a profane message this week when somebody edited a highway signal within the metropolis’s Montrose neighborhood to learn “Due To Weather Go F*** Your Self.” 

The signal was positioned simply forward of a roadside worksite.

Houston Public Works has not but decided which contractor employed by town to do building work owns the signal.

“This sign was not a Houston Public Works sign. A City inspector visited the location and turned the sign off. We were unable to locate who the sign belonged to,” an company spokesperson instructed Chron.com, the online-only newspaper operated by the Houston Chronicle.
