Former Proud Boys chief convicted of orchestrating plot to assault US Capitol on 6 January 2021

Former chief of far-right group the Proud Boys Enrique Tarrio has been convicted of orchestrating a plot to assault the US Capitol on 6 January 2021.

The assault led to members of the group storming the constructing after Joe Biden was formally confirmed as the following president.
