Man on Royal Caribbean cruise ship goes overboard – with rescue operation underneath method

A person has gone overboard on a luxurious cruise ship passing via waters south of Hawaii.

The Australian passenger fell off the Quantum of the Seas liner because it was travelling within the Pacific Ocean on Tuesday night.

US Coast Guard groups, together with air crew, are finishing up an ongoing search operation for him.

After he was declared overboard, the ship’s crew looked for him for about two hours, deploying six life rings.

The cruise, run by Royal Caribbean International, additionally notified the coastguard.

Within hours, its Hercules flight crew was deployed to the search space south of the settlement city of Kailua-Kona.

After six hours of looking out, the crew flew to Honolulu to tackle gasoline, with the coastguard saying they’d resume their search on Thursday morning.

The luxurious cruise ship, which hosts a spread of actions and leisure, was at sea for 15 days and was because of dock in Honolulu on Friday.

No additional particulars have been shared in regards to the lacking man.
