Man suffers leg damage and is arrested after leaping into pool at 9/11 Memorial

A 33-year-old man harm his leg after leaping down into the North Pool on the 9/11 Memorial in New York City on Monday.

The pool sits by the Twin Towers, felled by al-Qaeda terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001.

The man jumped down a 30-foot waterfall into the pool, waded by means of the water and shortly plummeted over the sting.

The man, who has not been named, faces pending expenses of prison mischief and trespassing, the New York City Police Department instructed the New York version of Patch.com.

When police arrived to rescue the person at round 1:30 p.m., he instructed them that he “did this for his father,” in keeping with WCBS-TV. It is unclear whether or not his father was a sufferer on 9/11.

The man was subsequently taken to the town’s Bellevue Hospital with a leg damage, officers instructed Patch.com.
