Mega Millions jackpot hits $910 million forward of Friday drawing

After nobody gained the $820 million Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday evening’s drawing, the grand prize complete has jumped as much as $910 million for Friday’s drawing.

Friday’s drawing would be the twenty ninth since April 18, when a ticket for a grand prize price $20 million was bought in New York, the lottery defined in a launch. If the jackpot is hit Friday, it will likely be the fifth-biggest grand prize in Mega Millions historical past.

The 4 largest wins for the lottery, on tickets bought between 2018 and January 2023, all surpassed $1 billion.

The $2 Mega Millions tickets are bought in D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and 45 U.S. states — they aren’t bought in Nevada, Utah, Alabama, Alaska, and Hawaii.

For a grand prize winner, there are two payout choices. The lump money sum would give the fortunate buyer $464.2 million, whereas the annuity would give the winner an instantaneous payout adopted by 29 annual funds, every 5% larger than the final.
