Two California ladies charged with pimping out therapeutic massage parlor staff

Prosecutors in Southern California stated Monday two feminine therapeutic massage parlor homeowners have been arrested and charged with pimping out their staff.

The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office introduced costs towards Shuzhi Fan, 47, of Thousand Oaks, and Qiuju Jia, 43, of Temple City, who have been charged with two felonies — pimping, and pandering by procuring prostitution.

Both suspects, who have been arrested individually final week, pleaded not responsible at their arraignments.



Prosecutors stated the Ventura County Human Trafficking Task Force was tipped off in May about an alleged industrial intercourse operation being run out of Ms. Fan’s enterprise, Xinyi Massage positioned in Thousand Oaks.

Authorities stated additional investigation revealed one other enterprise owned by Ms. Fan, VIP Massage in Arcadia, and Ms. Jia’s enterprise, H Massage in Calabasas, have been additionally taking advantage of the prostitution ring.

Prosecutors consider each of the ladies have been working collectively.

Ms. Fan and Ms. Jia are being held on the Ventura County jail on a $20,000 bail. Their subsequent court docket dates are scheduled for Sept. 18.
