Former vice-president Mike Pence has declared himself a candidate within the 2024 Republican race for the White House – pitting himself in opposition to Donald Trump.
Mr Pence’s marketing campaign filed a declaration of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission.
He will formally launch his marketing campaign with a video and a speech within the early nominating state of Iowa on Wednesday, three sources aware of the scenario advised Reuters, which is his sixty fourth birthday.
