Car crash at Fort Bliss in Texas kills 1 soldier and injures 5 others

FORT BLISS, Texas — A tactical automobile crashed Friday at Fort Bliss in Texas, killing a soldier and injuring 5 others, the bottom reported.

The accident passed off at about 9:30 a.m. in a base coaching space, authorities stated.

The title of the useless soldier, the situations of the injured and particulars of the accident weren’t instantly launched.



“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Soldier’s family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time,” Maj. Gen. James P. Isenhower III, senior commander of Fort Bliss and commander of the first Armored Division, stated in an announcement.

Fort Bliss is residence to the first Armored Division.

The explanation for the accident is beneath investigation.
