Seven individuals have been injured when a scorching air balloon caught fireplace Saturday morning throughout takeoff from a village in central Switzerland, authorities mentioned.

Authorities within the canton of Zug mentioned seven individuals - 4 ladies and three males, aged between 28 and 62 - have been within the balloon’s basket within the village of Huenenberg, southwest of Zurich. Two ladies and one man have been severely injured, whereas the opposite 4 occupants suffered minor accidents.

The injured have been taken to the hospital by the ambulance service and by non-public people, in response to a press release.

It was not instantly clear what brought about the fireplace.
