United Airlines flights had been halted nationwide on Tuesday due to an “equipment outage,” in keeping with the Federal Aviation Administration.
One of a number of FAA bulletins mentioned that United crews had been unable to contact airline dispatchers via regular means. The FAA mentioned the difficulty was restricted to United and its subsidiaries.
United didn't instantly reply to a request for extra data.
Shares of Chicago-based United Airlines Holdings Inc. fell on information of the bottom cease and had been down greater than 3% in afternoon buying and selling.
