Carlos Alcaraz's best energy could also be a scarcity of a big weak spot.

Alex de Minaur, who misplaced to Alcaraz within the Queen's Club remaining, says the world No. 1's most underrated weapon is his serve.

The top-seeded Spaniard served seven aces in opposition to one double fault and didn't drop serve defeating de Minaur 6-4, 6-4 to win his first grass-court crown at Queen's Club.

Alcaraz pumped a number of serves over 133 mph and afterward de Minaur mentioned the 6' Spaniard's serve is an undervalued asset.

"I think his serve as well. He's been able to get a couple cheap points here and there," de Minaur mentioned. "I think today in big points he was able to come up with big first serves and it got him out of trouble."

Alcaraz leads the ATP in service breaks this season, breaking 36.74 % of the time, which places him forward of Daniil Medvedev (33.76) and Novak Djokovic (32.33).

The US Open champion can be eighth in service video games received in 2023. Alcaraz is holding serve 85.19 % of the time.

"Look, I think that part of his game is underrated," de Minaur mentioned of Alcaraz's serve. "But I think today he showed in the important points he had a massive serve, and at times I put myself in that position and you can only say "Too good."
