Anett Kontaveit will shut the curtain on her aggressive profession after taking part in Wimbledon.

The 27-year-old Estonian introduced her retirement from professional tennis after subsequent month's Wimbledon as a result of a again damage that forestalls her from coaching.

A spirited Kontaveit roared again from a 2-5 deficit within the decider streaking by the ultimate 5 video games in a wild 5-7, 7-6(4), 7-5 comeback conquer Maria Sakkari within the 2022 St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy closing.
