SUNRISE, Fla. — Boston captain Patrice Bergeron didn't accompany the Bruins on their journey to Florida for Games 3 and 4 of an Eastern Conference first-round sequence with the Panthers.
He missed Game 1 on account of sickness and Game 2 to an unspecified upper-body harm. Game 3 is Friday night.
“We believe Game 5 is likely,” Bruins coach Jim Montgomery mentioned.
Bergeron was the Bruins’ third-leading scorer within the common season with 27 targets and 31 assists for 58 factors.
