The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts will compete within the All-Star Home Run Derby at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park on July 10, becoming a member of Seattle’s Julio Rodríguez and Toronto’s Vladimir Guerrero within the eight-man competitors.
Elected to start out within the All-Star Game for the National League, Betts leads the Dodgers with 20 dwelling runs. Betts introduced Friday he'll make his first derby look.
Juan Soto gained final 12 months’s derby at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, edging Rodríguez 19-18 within the closing spherical.
The Dodgers have by no means had a derby winner. Joc Pederson reached the ultimate spherical in 2015 at Cincinnati, shedding to Todd Frazier.
