A 25-year-old British backpacker has been stabbed within the again by an adolescent in an Australian seaside resort, native media is reporting.

The power added: "Bystanders restrained the 15-year-old boy until police arrived, arresting him. The 15-year-old has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.

"Investigators urge anybody with data or related imaginative and prescient to contact police. Investigations are persevering with."
