SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Democrats within the California Legislature on Thursday revived a invoice that will improve penalties for baby traffickers following strain from the general public and Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The invoice by Republican state Sen. Shannon Grove would add baby trafficking to a listing of significant felonies in California. Anyone convicted of not less than three critical felonies faces a jail sentence of between 25 years to life in jail underneath the state’s three strikes regulation.
