Police in Chicago mentioned a prisoner was crushed to dying by one other inmate Tuesday on the Cook County Jail.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office mentioned Johnny Hendrix, 29, was being assaulted by one other prisoner within the jail’s hospital wing when workers took discover and separated the 2.

Medical groups started administering life-saving measures on Hendrix. He was then taken to a hospital exterior the jail and died.

The sheriff’s workplace didn’t say whether or not costs have been introduced towards the assailant.
