PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — The dying toll from the heavy floods that hit Haiti over the weekend has risen to 42, with one other 11 individuals lacking, authorities stated Monday.

At least 85 individuals are injured, and greater than 13,600 properties had been flooded, forcing individuals to evacuate, based on Haiti’s Civil Protection Agency.
