The Los Angeles Dodgers could have dodged a Bud Light second after canceling plans to honor a bawdy collective of drag queens who costume up as nuns.

The group introduced Wednesday it has reversed its determination to acknowledge the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at its annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on June 16 after pushback from outstanding Catholics who accused the drag efficiency group of mocking and denigrating their religion.

“Given the strong feelings of people who have been offended by the sisters’ inclusion in our evening, and in an effort not to distract from the great benefits that we have seen over the years of Pride Night, we are deciding to remove them from this year’s group of honorees,” stated the Dodgers in a Wednesday assertion.
