SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Sebastián Driussi scored a pair of objectives, the primary one on a penalty kick, and Austin FC breezed to a 4-1 victory over Minnesota United on Saturday night time.

Diego Fagundez staked Austin (8-8-5) to a 1-0 lead within the thirty fifth minute when he used an help from Daniel Pereira to attain for a second time this season.

Driussi’s PK purpose got here within the forty fifth minute and gave Austin a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Driussi stretched the result in 3-0 six minutes into the second half. His sixth purpose of the marketing campaign got here with assists from Pereira and Ethan Finlay.

Minnesota United was coming off a 4-1 victory over the Portland Timbers, the membership’s largest margin of victory since a 3-0 win over the Chicago Fire in April of final season.

Austin has scored a minimum of one purpose in six straight street matches after failing to attain in seven of its earlier eight away from residence in all competitions.

Austin leads the collection 4-3-0.

Austin travels to play the Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday. Minnesota United travels to play the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday.
