The father of a person whose physique was utilized by a rapist and assassin in an elaborate jail escape plan says the South African authorities has "failed him".
Nor does Batho Mpholo imagine the police account of his son Katlego Bereng's final hours alive.
Thabo Bester, who was convicted in 2012 of raping two girls and killing one among them, went lacking in May final 12 months following a hearth in his jail cell at Mangaung Correctional Centre in Bloemfontein.
