BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) β€” A fireplace has brought about heavy injury Friday morning to a constructing that homes the Bowling Green workplace of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul in addition to an area legislation agency.

Fire crews had been referred to as to the constructing on State Steet round 2 a.m. Friday and located a heavy blaze that required further models, Bowling Green Fire Department spokeswoman Katie McKee informed the Daily News.

Six models labored for hours to extinguish the flames, with firefighters manning aerials to get on the blaze from above. The fireplace brought about a roof collapse and a plume of heavy grey smoke rose from the highest of the constructing at dawn, the newspaper reported.

Paul stated in a press release that he was grateful for first responders who arrived shortly to extinguish the blaze. He stated his workplace is working with authorities to evaluate damages and decide a trigger and can proceed to function for constituents.
