NEW YORK — A tall building crane caught hearth in Manhattan on Wednesday morning, and its arm hit a constructing because it crashed to the road beneath.

Photos and movies posted on social media present flames bursting from the automotive of a crane a whole lot of ft above tenth Avenue at forty first Street. The crane’s arm scraped the highest flooring of a skyscraper throughout the road because it fell.

There have been no quick experiences of accidents from the crane hearth and collapse, which occurred shortly earlier than 8 a.m.

Firefighters stationed on a roof deck of one other constructing used hoses to battle the blaze. Surrounding streets have been closed to visitors.

The location on Manhattan’s West Side is close to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and an entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel, which carries auto visitors to and from New Jersey below the Hudson River.
