Two folks seem to have been attacked by sharks in New York a day after two others reported being bitten within the water at common seashores within the state.

At least one seashore delayed opening on Tuesday after officers stated drones noticed some 50 sands sharks that morning close to a well-liked seashore park.

When the seashore reopened, swimmers have been suggested to remain near shore. The seashore was closed as soon as extra after a potential shark sighting, however officers decided it was a dolphin.

Long Island State Parks regional director George Gorman instructed the native paper Newsday: "She didn't see what bit her, the lifeguards didn't know what bit her, the drone operator checked the area, we didn't see.

"So we won't definitively say what bit her."

After a spate of attacks last year, state parks officials have increased patrols and deployed more drones to scout the waters for possible danger.

"We did have a season final 12 months the place we had six swimmers bitten from sharks, so this has was a little bit of a priority," Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison instructed native information tv station WABC.
