The Empire Cinemas chain has entered administration, resulting in the lack of 150 jobs and the closure of six cinemas.
Eight of the 14 cinemas within the group - below the Empire Cinemas and Tivoli manufacturers - will stay open.
But the places which were closed with fast impact are:
• Bishop's Stortford• Catterick Garrison• Sunderland• Swindon• Walthamstow• Wigan
Sites to stay open are situated in:• Birmingham• Clydebank• High Wycombe• Ipswich• Sutton• Bath• Cheltenham
The directors say they're looking for a purchaser.
The monetary impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation and the price of dwelling disaster have been blamed for the closures.
