A Georgia woman who was 4 years outdated when she went lacking in April 2021 has been reunited along with her father after being present in Mexico.

The U.S. Marshals Service accused the woman’s mom, Andrea McCord, and Ms. McCord’s boyfriend, Custodio Guerra, of kidnapping the woman from her father’s house in Smyrna, Georgia.

The woman was recognized as Majesty Williams by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She is now 6 years outdated.

“I am incredibly grateful and overjoyed to be reunited with my daughter,” Mr. Williams mentioned when the two-year ordeal ended. “I want to thank the Smyrna Police Department, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and the U.S. Marshals for everything they did to find Majesty. Words cannot express how happy I am to have my daughter back home.”

Ms. McCord didn't have full authorized custody of Majesty, who's her organic daughter. On the day Majesty disappeared, Ms. McCord had a supervised go to along with her whereas the woman’s father, James Williams, was working within the yard of his house in Smyrna.

Mr. Williams would later uncover his estranged spouse and his daughter had been lacking. So was his automotive, in accordance with authorities.

Ms. McCord later texted Mr. Williams to elucidate that the automotive was parked at a neighborhood grocery retailer with the keys beneath the seat.

Mr. Williams then reported his daughter lacking to the Smyrna Police Department.

After over two years of looking out, Majesty was discovered on Saturday with Ms. McCord and Mr. Guerra within the city of Rioverde within the central Mexican state of San Luis de Potosi. Mexican police took all three into custody and turned them over to American authorities.

Ms. McCord and Mr. Guerra are in police custody, each charged with interstate interference with little one custody.
