Nine individuals have been injured in a taking pictures on a boardwalk by Hollywood Beach, Florida.

Several of the victims have been taken to a close-by youngsters's hospital.

However, authorities haven't but launched the ages of the victims who included six adults and three youngsters.

A preliminary investigation has discovered that an altercation between two teams resulted in pictures being fired.

One individual has been arrested and one other suspect continues to be being sought.

The taking pictures occurred about 6.30pm on Memorial Day.

One witness, Alvie Carlton Scott III, advised Reuters information company he was on the seashore when he heard quite a few gunshots go off.

He stated he hid behind a tree after which fled the world after a police officer advised individuals to run.

Police stated there can be a heavy presence of officers within the space because the investigation continues.

Hollywood mayor Josh Levy stated in a press release: "Thank you to the good Samaritans, paramedics, police and emergency room doctors and nurses for their immediate response to aid the victims of today's shooting."
