WASHINGTON (AP) — Jill Biden will promote empowerment for ladies and younger individuals - and attend a Jordanian royal wedding ceremony - throughout an upcoming journey to the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

The first girl was scheduled to depart Wednesday on a six-day journey that may take her to Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Portugal. Her workplace shared some particulars first with The Associated Press.
