Asked about the UK's climate change committee and its assertion that this country has "misplaced its clear international management on local weather change" partially by backtracking on fossil gasoline commitments, approving a brand new coal mine and supporting new oil and fuel within the North Sea, Mr Kerry stated: "My understanding from UK officers is that they're promising to remain on monitor and on the goal of their reductions.

Mr Kerry stated that he's seeing a shift within the tempo of progress forward of the COP28 UN local weather change summit in Dubai, although there are considerations that the summit's president can also be the CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and that this might undermine the gathering and its negotiations.
