It is unclear what some noises heard close to the wreck of the Titanic truly are, the US Coast Guard has stated.
As the seek for the lacking Titan submersible continues, Captain Jamie Frederick stated: "We don't know what (the noises) are, to be frank with you."
The sounds had been heard by a Canadian airplane this morning and yesterday, Captain Frederick added.
"We're searching in the area where the noises were detected," he stated.

Former Royal Navy commander Chris Parry advised Sky News he finds tales of "banging" underwater "pretty spurious".
He stated: "You've got Titanic banging away with all its deteriorating structures.
