Nearly 80 women have been poisoned and hospitalised in two separate assaults at their major colleges in Afghanistan, an official has stated.

It is considered the primary time such an assault has occurred for the reason that Taliban seized energy in August 2021 and started a crackdown on the freedoms of Afghan ladies and women.

Girls are banned from training past the sixth grade, together with college, and girls are barred from most jobs and public areas.

Nearly 80 feminine college students have been poisoned within the Sangcharak district of Sar-e-Pul province over Saturday and Sunday, stated Mohammad Rahmani, who heads the provincial training division.

He stated 60 college students have been poisoned in Naswan-e-Kabod Aab School and 17 have been poisoned in Naswan-e-Faizabad School.

"Both primary schools are near to each other and were targeted one after the other," he instructed The Associated Press.

"We shifted the students to the hospital, and now they are all fine."
