WIMBLEDON, England — Novak Djokovic gained the primary set of the Wimbledon closing 6-1 in opposition to Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday.

Djokovic is bidding for his record-tying eighth Wimbledon singles championship and fifth in a row. Alcaraz is attempting for his first trophy on the All England Club.

Djokovic needs his twenty fourth Grand Slam title. Alcaraz needs his second.

There is loads on the road when Djokovic and Alcaraz meet one another at Centre Court.
